

Our beautiful 876 hectare “Moonaralla Farm” has stunning views of the Porongurup Ranges with gently sloping green pastures. The name “Moonaralla” is an aboriginal word meaning “plenty of”.
Moonaralla Farm’s cows graze on our lush pastures as well as being supplemented with grain for optimum milk production. They produce fresh premium milk with its quality being well above the state average due to the high components of fat & protein.
Our dairy farm is run by Graham and Jan and their 3 sons: Bevan and wife Rebecca, their son Lucas, Rhys and wife Tracy, their daughter Samara and Kenneth and wife Bonnie and their son Heath and daughter Georgina.
Our cows are milked twice daily in our milking shed and piped across to the dairy less than 100m away. Our cows include 50% Holstein Friesians, 25% Jersey/Friesians Cross and 25% Pure Bred Jersey Cows.
Our premium quality milk is produced each day and supplied to National Foods and Challenge Dairy.
As well as supplying milk to others, our family felt we wanted to value add and create our own premium quality dairy products we could brand as “Ravenhill Dairy”. This led to the construction of our on-farm Milk Processing Plant in 2005, and the name “Ravenhill Dairy” was established.
The Ravenhill family remember how milk used to taste – with a thick creamy top and smooth milk below, and creams that are so rich and pure you just can’t get enough! We have endeavoured to produce milk products in the old fashioned way so that they not only taste great, but are good for you. None of our products contain any additives, preservatives or thickeners and our milk handling involves minimal processing to ensure a fresher and natural taste that we know you’ll love.
Full milk production for Ravenhill Dairy commenced in April 2005 with our first range of products being Traditional Full Cream Milk, Full Cream Milk, Low Fat Milk and two varieties of cream, Old Style Whipping Cream and Old Style Thick Cream.
Due to the fantastic response to our award winning, 100% natural products we have begun to diversify and now produce a further range of products which include a no fat Skim Milk, delicious flavoured milks such as Iced Coffee and Choc Milk, traditional creamy ice creams available in 10 different flavours depending on seasonal availability and public demand. We hope to consider a move into thick classic yoghurts due to high demands for this line in the near future.
